21st May 2006 - Full Time; Wantage Six's - On a morning which was more like a typical wet, windy and cold winters day, as the morning went on the pitches would only resemble a mud bath. First game of the morning, Allbrite A went down 3-0 to Clanfield, but after they draw 2-2 each to The Bell, they went out fighting, loosing to Saxton Rovers. Allbrite B left it late to get their points, loosing both first matches against Rutherford B and Wheatley Pk both 1-0. The final game a win for Allbrite would mean Wheatley would go through. Missing Constable through injury, Jones took on the gloves and his replacement Stone scored 3 to help Allbrite win 6-2. Neither Allbrite team would grumble about going out early as a chance for an early bath was too good to miss.
11th May 2006 - Presentation Evening - This years presentation evening will be held at the Bystander in Wootton on 17th June.
2nd May 2006 - Stats - All stats have been updated.
30th April 2006 - Full Time; White Horse 5 - 1 Allbrite FC - Allbrite crashed on the final game of the season. A great start to the match, Allbrite were a match for White Horse who are still looking for promotion. Lozy gave Allbrite the lead after an awesome strike from 20 yards looping over the White Horse keeper. Allbrite had a couple more changes after with Lyford, but a mixed in the Allbrite defence brought the scores level again after Stone could only knock it in his own net. A foul by Weston gave White Horse a penalty which Burkitt had no chance in stopping. Second half White Horse kept the pressure up scoring another 2 goals and another own goal by Stone, which again was hard luck on a superb performance. Allbrite say bye to Burkitt in his last match and also to Watt who goes traveling for 12 months. Man of the Match was Lyford.
25th April 2006 - Full Time; Allbrite Reds 2 - 2 Allbrite Blue (Reds win on Pens) - Allbrite had the weekend off from league fixtures so Bob arranged a friendly match amongst each other. Both teams sporting new players, none other than Marc Parslow who hasn't played for a number of years and even brought his Bryan Robson shin pads!!! In a fairly even match, it was the 10 men of the Reds who took the early lead from a beautiful free kick from Argent before Will brought the scores level again. Shortly before half time Lozy made it 2-1. Wasn't till the latter part of the game before R Taylor leveled the scores. Somehow don't think Bob will be refereeing the FA Cup final after this performance!!! lol. The game went to penalties, after 18 each and a number of outstanding saves from both the Allbrite keepers, it was Lyford who scored the winner past Constable. Man of the Match has to be the antique Bryan Robson shin pads.
13th April 2006 - Diary Dates - An extra fixture has been added to the Allbrite calendar, Allbrite Blue's take on Allbrite Reds on 23rd April, teams will be decided on the day. Drinking session is on in the By after the match so leave your cars at home. Also the Wantage 6's on May 21st.
9th April 2006 - Full Time; Didcot Casuals 1 - 3 Allbrite FC - Allbrite knew before kick off this match wasn't going to be as easy as the 13-0 win earlier in the season. The game too a while to get started with chances in short supply, Didcot came the closest, but even those chances we're far short of troubling Burkitt. As the half went on Allbrite closed Didcot out the game and it was Losy from a corner who turned the ball into the net. Second half, while the game went on Didcot always had the chance to get back in it, till the Lyford stepped in to make his mark on the game. A beautifully curled free kick from 25 yards, even Beckham would be proud off, extended the advantage. Didcot had changes including a dubious penalty which as was to say the least very poorly taken and Burkitt stood to catch it easily. Didcot did pull one back before again Lyford showed class when the angle looked too tight he managed to squeeze it in. Man of the Match, Lyford.
6th April 2006 - Wantage 6's - The Wantage six a side this year is on SUNDAY 21st MAY. Allbrite is looking to enter 2 teams, any Allbrite players wishing to take part, please let Rob know.

Next Allbrite are away to Didcot Casuals, remembering the 13-0 thrashing earlier this season before a 2 week gap before finally playing White Horse Abingdon on 30th April. Allbrite wont be playing Didcot Labour Club as they have folded, all teams due to play them have been award a win.
2nd April 2006 - Full Time; Allbrite FC 1 - 3 Goodlake Arms - This was always going to be a game of two half's, but this was down to the strong wind which swept through the Oxfordshire countryside. Allbrite had the advantage of the wind behind them for the first half, and in the first few minutes had a few chances, possibly best chance was Lyford's blocked shot on the line, was it hand ball or not??? Never know. Goodlake failed really to create any chances and as the half went on Allbrite on had shots from long range. Second half Goodlake put Allbrite under pressure, but mid way through the half Goodlake failed to clear a free kick and Losy was there to slot in from 10 yards. Straight from the kick off Goodlake came back into the game 1-1. From there they added 2 more goals, but a string of fine saves from Burkitt and the cross bar helped keep the score down. Man of the Match Jamie McKay.
27th March 2006 - Up Next; Allbrite FC vs Goodlake Arms -
27th March 2006 - Full Time; Allbrite FC 4 - 1 JET - Allbrite win back to back games this weekend with a convincing win over JET. From the start Allbrite put the pressure on and wasn't long before Lyford ran through to put Allbrite 1-0 up. JET kept in touch with Allbrite though failing to take advantage of the corners and set pieces. S Taylor was brought down in the box and Jones coolly converted the penalty, shortly after D Taylor made sure with a flying near post header. Second half Allbrite took 20 minutes before they realised it had started with JET coming on strong and came back into the game when they 3 had attackers free in the box. This was the wake up call Allbrite needed and towards the end S Taylor slotted home. Man of the Match was D Stone.
20th March 2006 - Final home game??? - Allbrite's match at home this weekend could be the final match at home of the season, with only Didcot Labour Club to play at the stadium of Brite, Didcot's failure to field a team in the last 7 weeks could mean Allbrite winning 3 points without kicking a ball. Allbrite's remaining away matches see them face Didcot Casuals, Goodlake Arms and White Horse Abingdon, though no further fixtures have been arranged after this weekend.
20th March 2006 - Up Next; Allbrite FC vs Jet - Allbrite face Jet this weekend in Allbrites last but one home game this season. Though Allbrite have only beaten Jet once in their history JET's recent form has seen them only win 3 matches from 11 games. Allbrite narrowly lost earlier in the season to JET 2-1, but who can forget Allbrite's spirited fight back last season when Allbrite scored 3 late goals to seal the match 3-1. If Allbrite are to keep up with the leaders a win will be a must, especially with White Horse closing the gap.
19th March 2006 - Supporters - Come rain or shin, Allbrite this season has been getting a regular support from the touch line, Allbrite's youngest supporter Eddie Cox has been doing his fair bit shouting and playing ball boy, he's been joined by Barry Harris. Support has also gone global with Ian Malins on his travels, having recently arrived in Australia. 'G'Day mate, put a shrimp on the barby'.
19th March 2006 - Full Time; Allbrite FC 4 - 0 Sandman Res - Allbrite got back to winning ways with a convincing win over Sandman. From the start Allbrite applied the pressure with a number of chances falling to Lyford, Argent and Watt. Allbrite opened the scoring half way through the half when Argent was brought down in the box and Lyford coolly converted the penalty. Argent finished off the half with a goal for himself. Weston came on for the second half replacing Redmond and the second half was much the same with the Allbrite keeper not called upon, Sandman's Chris Rowles hit the upright. As the game went on there wasn't much between the teams, but it was Lyford who got his second of the game and before the end Watt made the final score 4 - 0. Allbrites man of the match this week was Ian Bishop.
13th March 2006 - Full Time; Allbrite FC 1 - 3 White Horse Abingdon -

5th March 2006 - Full Time; Allbrite FC 1 - 2 Goodlake Arms - Allbrite came very close to keeping the unbeaten run going, all but to an injury time winner for Goodlake. Goodlake started the stronger and gained the advantage early on. Both teams pressed hard, but the offside trap was working wonders for both teams. The second half started the stronger for for Allbrite, coming close a number of times before some well worked played between Lyford and Watt brought the scores level again with a near post goal from Watt. As the game closed, Goodlake came close a number of times and hitting the post along the way before scoring the winner from close range.
27th February 2006 - Up Next; Allbrite FC vs Goodlake Arms - Allbrite face Goodlake for the first time this coming weekend, though Allbrite have failed a win against Goodlake in the previous 2 fixtures. Goodlake are currently 2 point ahead of Allbrite, but with Allbrite's confidence high after Sunday victory who knows. A win against Goodlake, Allbrite will have to beat a familiar face between the sticks in Phil Rose.
27th February 2006 - Full Time; Allbrite FC 3 - 0 Supersonic Sunday - Allbrite pulled off a performance of the season to beat Sonic who have only lost 1 game prior all season. The game got off to the best start possible with Sonic unable to contain Lyford who ran through the defence to put Allbrite 1 up, things got beat a short while later when Sonic netted an own goal from S Taylors corner. After that the match became more even with very few chances for either team and Allbrite lost Stone to an ankle injury. Again there wasn't too many chance's for either team though is was Sonic who put the pressure on, only for Taylor to slot in in close range to make sure of the result.

5th February 2006 - Full Time; Allbrite FC 4 - 2 Hampstead Norreys - Allbrite started the match with a hang over with Hampstead taking the lead, though wasn't long before S Taylor drew level with a one on one with the keeper. Harris was then on target to break through the defence and a cool finish with only the keeper to beat. Hampstead refused to give up and was aloud to bring the scores level once. In a frantic last 15, Allbrite had numerous chances to finish the game off, but it was a rebound off the keeper which S Taylor only had to slot in which gave Allbrite the advantage again. To finally make sure of the result Watt produced what surely will be goal of the season, a shot from the half way line, left the Hampstead keeper in no mans land.

Only for again Hampstead took the advantage straight away. Allbrite drew level shortly before Mckay was replaced by Mailins after colliding with Lyford. Allbrite then oozed confidence before going in at half time 4-2. The second half continued much the same, Lyford teasing the defenders, but couldn't add to his 1 goal. D Taylor completed his first hat trick and Argent made sure of the result grabbing Allbrite's 7th. Another forced changed brought Redmond on for Stone after he was taken out by his own keeper Birkett. Hampstead got the 10th goal from this thriller of a match when Redmond headed past his own keeper Birkett.

Second half Medway continued as they finished the first half and with 15 minutes to go scored a penalty to make the score 5-2, not wanting to be out done, Allbrite pull one back through another penalty scored by Lyford. Allbrite were the quickest off the mark applying most the play in the Ardington half, though it was Ardington where ahead half way through the half. Allbrite soon found the net with an own goal leaving the keeper with no chance and before half time, Lozy put Allbrite 2-1 up. Second want the same and soon after the start Ardington drew level with a low shot in the bottom corner. Plenty more chances for both teams though again it was Ardington who found the net with a free header from the free kick. After that the game got a little scrappy with hand bags being thrown around along with a couple of yellow cards for their trouble. Allbrite loose the unbeaten run, but have a week off before going to Meadway Youth in the next round of B&B Cup.

13th November 2005 - Full Time; Allbrite FC 3 - 1 Sandbank Res - A fine captains performance inspired Allbrite their third win in a row and ensured Allbrite went through to the next round of the B& Cup. Allbrite got off to the perfect start with D Taylor opening the scoring. It was late on in first half when Sandbank slotted in from close range to draw level at half time. Sandbank attacked more in the second half, but with the game looking like it might go in to extra time, Argent gave Allbrite the advantage again. Sandbank didn't give up, but a controversial end to the game Sandbank could have been down to 10 men when the keeper brought down R Taylor just outside the box, but got away with a yellow card. Second half Allbrite started slow and Drayton kept Allbrite pegged back and was award the a goal from inside the penalty area. S Taylor then gave Allbrite back the 3 goal advantage before Drayton scored their second with a looping shot over the Allbrite keeper. Harris made sure of the match with Allbrite's 5th goal. 30th October 2005 - Full Time; Rebels FC 4 Vs 5 Allbrite FC - A nightmare start for Allbrite, in a game which they didn't come alive till the last 20 minutes. Possibly the best come back in Allbrite's history, which wouldn't have helped Bob Taylor's blood pressure for the majority of the game!!! A first half performance which will be soon forgotten. Rebels soon took a 2-0 lead through some sloppy play before Jones pulled one back, though at half time Rebels managed to regain the 2 goal advantage. The second half didn't start too well either, Rebels were awarded a penalty which sent Burkitt the wrong way, soon after Rebels had another penalty which Burkitt got down well and somehow managed to turn it over. This appeared to inspire Allbrite to play football, firstly D Taylor pull one back with a header from the corner before R Taylor slotted home. Argent then also joined in the scoring with his first for the club. With the last kick of the game Jones secured his second of the game, with that the winning goals and deservedly awarding himself the man of the match title. This result also sees Allbrite best run without loosing a game.

23rd October 2005 - Full Time; Supersonic Sunday 1 Vs 1 Allbrite FC - Allbrite failed to get their second away win of the season to a late equalizer from Supersonic. Allbrite had many of the early chance's and just missing the finishing touch, but it Harris who found the touch putting Allbrite one up with a close range shot. Supersonic should have pulled one back towards half time with a penalty, but a superb save from Burkitt and a follow up save unsure Allbrite went in with the advantage. It was a different Supersonic in the second half and had most of the chances. Perhaps the miss from 2 yards and the numerous saves from Burkitt maybe they thought it wasn't going to be their day. Bishop came close to making the same safe, but with minutes to go Supersonic continued pressure paid off when they ran through the Allbrite defense to slot in at the near post. Allbrite's man of the match: Burkitt.

The lead didn't last very long, but again Allbrite kept going. Losy hit the post from a free kick before another Hook corner was met by R Taylor. The second half was more Nags Head in control. The game turned after a penalty was turned down after a foul on Losy was clear on goal.
