A windy morning which could have made scoring difficult, Brown opened the scoring on 20 mins and soon after grab his second. Jones shortly before half time made it 3-0. With the advantage of the wind in the second half, Allbrite could and should have increased their lead, but a handball in the area by Harris shortly after coming on, Rose superbly dived to his left to deny Rebels a goal back. 4th March 2007 - Reds 2 - Blues 4 - Allbrites game was called off today due to JP's cup fixture so the team got together on a wet pitch in Wootton to play each other. 19th February 2007 - Rebels Res 2 - 4 Allbrite FC - Finally the poor weather held off as Allbrite finally able to continue the promotion campaign away to Rebels. Another game which always promises goals. It wasn't long to wait for the first goal, though it was against Allbrite, a through ball and a one on one with Rose to slot home. Allbrite failed to create anything in the first 45 and Bob Taylor rang the changes at half time with 3 subs. The game restarted, though a case of the same after Rose took a free kick inside the Allbrite half only to fall to the Rebels forward who fired home from 25 yards. The game turned when Allbrite were awarded a penalty which Lyford hit the post and scored the rebound. Rebels felt this was against the rules, though the referee aloud the goal to rightly stand. From here Allbrite took control, Brown crossed for Jones to head home before Argent scored from close range. Lyford made sure of the result with a long range shot in the bottom corner. Shaun soon added his second early in the second half with a drive from outside the 18 yard box and soon after looked to get his hatrick when he was brought down in the area, which Lyford fired home the penalty. Towards the end of the game Shaun completed his hatrick and added a forth. Gilbert came on for Lozy and caused problems for Didcot on the wing, before R Taylor was replaced by TJ. With 10 minutes to go Brown broke free and slot in past the keeper. A foul on TJ, as he got up, he appeared to be stood on and retaliated back and found himself walking back for an early shower. Allbrite managed to hold on for the victory. Man of the Match Gareth Jones.
11th December 2006 - Wallingford Exiles 0 - 1 Allbrite FC - After 5 attempts Allbrite finally record a victory against Wallingford on Sunday morning. A fiery start to the game, things soon settle down, though very few chances for both teams. Harris immediately made an impact firing a left foot shoot which the keeper could only parry it to Gilbert who fired in from close range to score his first goal for Allbrite. 27th November 2006 - Allbrite FC P-P JP's FC - Allbrite's match this week was called off on Saturday as the overnight rain made the pitch unplayable. On the stroke of half time a R Taylor found himself alone in the box to header home. Second half started much the same and Jones increased the lead from close range mid way through. Allbrite still managed to waste a few changes with both R Taylor and Shaun Brown missing excellent opportunities. The following week Allbrite enter the first round of the Buck & Bucks Sunday Junior Trophy against Didcot Casuals.
17th September 2006 - Allbrite FC 3 - 3 Jet - An entertaining mat for the neutral, though in the end perhaps a fair result for both teams. Allbrite started brightly, but it was Jet who took the lead after 15 minutes after a mix up in the Allbrite defence, this woke them up and near to half time Shaun Brown made it 2 from 2 with a lovely strike from 25 yards slipped under the Jet keeper. Again Allbrite started the second half sleep and Jet again took the lead with a looping header in off the crossbar. Shortly after a long pass down the line met up with Lyford who from 30 yards set a looping ball over the Jet keeper and into the net. S Taylor had to come off injured, replaced by Redman, from the resulting free-kick Jones as able to pounce on the ball and place it in the net. The game seemed over till another shot from distance again hit the Allbrite cross bar, but the time was turned in to his own net by Hall. Argent nearly stole the game with the few seconds to go, but the Jet keeper was on hand to block the ball, only to see Argents effort go wide. Allbrite still looking for their first win of the season slipped back down to 9th. Half time keeper change for Allbrite, Jones stood between the sticks and was also the savior with a second half penalty and also won him the man of the match for the second week running.
3rd September 2006 - Allbrite FC 0 - 3 Red Lion Drayton - A new look Red Lion took control of the game from the very start, though neither team during the first half had many chances which troubled the keepers. It was Red Lion who took the lead before half time, which the ball was kicked out of the Allbrite keepers hands and into the goal. Allbrite in the second half had the wind against them, shortly after the start it was 2-0 after the Constable was left day dreaming only the watch the ball go into the net.
