23rd April 2008 - Website Updates - All club & player stats have been updated.
23rd April 2008 - Fixture Updates - Allbrite's 2007/08 season is over. Lack of players and pitch for the remaining games has meant the remaining fixtures have been awarded to the opposition.
15th
April 2008 - Result: Allbrite FC 2 - 4 Long Whittenham FC - Long
Wittenham came back from a two goal deficit to beat Allbrite 4-2, in a fine
second half show. Allbrite`s Ash Watson scored both first half goals, to give
what looked a decent lead but the famous Garsington slope took its toll as a
Danny Osborne double, a fine 25 yard strike from Stu Morrison & a goal from
Ryan Scott totally turned the tables. Allbrite keeper Phil Rose had made a fine
point blank save to deny Osborne & stand in keeper Andy Burton had a good
second half, after a shaky first period, for Wittenham. Pladdys made his come
back after a broken leg back in October coming on as a second half sub.

31st March 2008 - Up Next - This coming weekend, Allbrite are at home in a rearranged match against Research Machines. A month ago Allbrite beat Research 4-1 away, though Research will be hoping to add to their impressive win this weekend 7-2 against Long Whittenham.
31st March 2008 - Result: Wallingford Exiles P - P Allbrite FC - Wallingford gained all 3 points this weekend as Allbrite were only able to field 7 players and the match was awarded to Wallingford.
25th March 2008 - Up Next - This coming weekend, Allbrite are away to Wallingford Exiles in the league. After 2 weeks off due to poor weather, though Allbrite will find it hard on their travels as results show, only 1 win against Wallingford in 7 matches.
14th March 2008 - Thieves strike at Abingdon leisure centre - Thieves broke into 12 cars parked at an Abingdon leisure centre last night (Thursday, 13th) and stole valuables while the owners were playing five-a-side football. Police were alerted following the thefts at Tilsley park football and athletics centre in Dunmore Road, between 9pm and 10pm. The footballers returned to their vehicles to find cash, mobile phones and wallets stolen. It is understood there is no CCTV covering the car park at the leisure centre. 11th March 2008 - Result: Allbrite FC 3 - 2 The Wheatsheaf (Didcot) - Allbrite made it 3 wins in 3 games thanks to a hard fought win at home to Wheatsheaf. Lyford unselfishly set up Weston for his 1st game for Allbrite to slot home from 5 yards. Weston returned the favor from a free kick for Rob Taylor to score from the same distance. Wheatsheaf pulled a goal back before home time. As the game closed Jenkins converted a corner from Steve Taylor, before Wheatsheaf pulled another one back, but it wasn't enough as Allbrite took all 3 points. Man of the Match was Darryl Stone.
10th March 2008 - Up Next - This coming weekend, Allbrite are home again against an impressive form of late Goodlake Arms. Scoring 38 goals on their last 7 matches, this weekend secured a place in the Devenney Cup semi-final. Earlier in the season Allbrite won this fixture 4-2, but only Allbrite's first win against Goodlake in 5 matches.

25th February 2008 - Up Next - This coming weekend, Allbrite are back at home against Wheatsheaf whom they last played in league 3, 2 years ago. Beating Wheatsheaf Allbrite could move up to 3rd in the league. Wheatsheaf's form hasn't been of great since the new year, winning this weekend 4-3 at Long Whittenham, but last a couple weeks ago to rivals Abingdon Exiles 7-1.

February 2008 - Result: Research Machines 1 - 4 Allbrite FC - Allbrite
traveled to RM and claimed their 2nd win in as many games. Allbrite took the
lead after 35minutes after wayne stone fired home from inside the box, which saw
a first half with few chances. Allbrite started the second half as they
ended the first with great play on both wings, R Taylor came on for his 100th
appearance and slotted home after 5mins after a confusion with an offside.
Allbrite then conceded shortly after. Phil Rose then scored after a Lyford cross
to make it 3-1 before Rose leaves to have an operation on his knee, Allbrite
completed the scoring after S Taylor went through on goal and coolly slotted
home to make it RM 1-4 Allbrite.

February 2008 - Result: Rutherford Lab 1 - 3 Allbrite FC - Allbrite
got back to winning ways after a good display against Rutherford, the 1st half
saw few chances as Rutherford held out to keep it at 0 - 0. Second half started
the same wit Allbrite on top, Allbrite's 1st goal came from a Hall cross which R
Taylor caught the slightest of volleys to hit the back of the net. Allbrite's
second came from another Hall cross in which Wayne Stone fired home to make it
2-0. Rutherford then hit back with 20mins to go, before Jones slipped a pass
through for R Taylor to grab his brace. Man of the Match was Graham Hall.
13th February 2008 - Up Next - This coming weekend, Allbrite are on their travels again against Rutherford Lab. Though Allbrite have been picking up points from postponed matches, they have won a match for 8 games now, the last coming back on 14th October last year. Rutherford have also been lacking in form of late, conceding 30 goals in the last 5 matches which sees them 7 point from safety at the bottom of the table.
13th February 2008 - New Signings - Allbrite signed 2 new players last week, Ashley Weston and Nick Rand, both of who made their debut in Sunday's 5-1 defeat to OUP Wonderers.
13th February 2008 - Fixture update - Fixture list updated.
11th February 2008 - Result: OUP Wonderers 5 - 1 Allbrite FC - OUP came out on top with a result that didn't reflect the game, in the end OUP took their chances where Allbrite failed. A first half of few chances from either side, but OUP took their 2 chances to go in at half time with the 2 goal advantage. Rob Taylor and new signing Ashley Weston had a couple of chances to score before OUP took the game out of reach at 5-0. Steve Taylor scored a consolation for Allbrite with a curled shot from inside the area. Man of the Match was Steve Taylor.
6th February 2008 - Result: Allbrite FC P - P Research Machines -
30th January 2008 - Up Next - This coming weekend, Allbrite are back on home turf against Research Machines, a fixture not played before. Research Machines are currently second off the bottom, though they're on the back of a 5 nil win against Rutherford last weekend. Allbrite have found scoring a problem of late having only scored 13 league goals all season, the last coming in mid November.

this week, a close game with Exiles coming out on top, half time it was 0-0 with
no clear chances, 2nd half they scored about 70th and 80th minute. Man of the
Match was Darryl Stone. 21st January 2008 - Up Next - This coming weekend, Allbrite have another tough away tie in Abingdon against Abingdon Exiles at Northcourt Road. With a number of familiar faces around on both teams, it was Allbrite who sneaked a draw when they met back in November. I fine save by Rose at the end of the match saved all the points going to Exiles.
15th January 2008 - Up Next - This coming weekend, Allbrite have the tough away tie to O.U.P Wonderers who are currently sitting pretty at the top of the league, having won 9 of their 10 games, the other a draw against CR Marks Kirtlington.
10th January 2008 - Fixture update - This Sunday's game against Dolphin is off, due to Dolphin folding.
7th January 2008 - Up Next - This coming weekend, Allbrite are away to Dolphin, having only played each other once before back in September, in a game which finished 4-3 to Dolphin but in the process Allbrite throw away a 3 nil lead at half time.

game and scored 3 goals in the 1st half. Changes were made at half time and Allbrite
played a little better in the second half but still couldn't find the target, S
Taylor hitting the bar was their only clear chance. Man of the Match this week
was Tom Harris.
4th January 2008 - Fixture update - Fixture list up to the end of January has been updated. 2nd January 2008 - Up Next - This coming weekend it's hopefully back to match play action, this week against fellow promotion team Wallingford Exiles in the league. Wallingford are just above Allbrite in the league in 3rd place. Previous match results are below.
2nd January 2008 - Result: Allbrite FC P - P Rutherford Lab - Match was called off, as a result Allbrite awarded the win and 3 points. 17th December 2007 - Capello, New England Manager - Capello's first experience of English football was a losing one way back in 1969 when playing for Roma in a two-leg clash between the English and Italian League Cup winners. Roma won the first game 2-1 but lost the return leg 4-0 - to Swindon Town. (The Sun) 17th December 2007 - Up Next - This coming weekend is a weekend off for Christmas before back to actions on the 30th for this years final game. 2007 has been a memorable year for Allbrite, finishing 3rd in league 3B and with it landing promotion to league 2. The final game for 2007 is against Rutherford Lab, who find themselves bottom of league 2 with just the one win this season. Allbrite's previous match results against Rutherford are below. 17th December 2007 - Result: Allbrite FC P - P CR Marks Kirtlington - Match was called off at the last minute, Kirtlington unable to field a team, as a result Allbrite awarded the win and 3 points. 12th December 2007 - Fixture update - Following last weeks game cancellation, fixtures have been moved around, complete update is on the stats page. Allbrite will play CR Marks this weekend. 12th December 2007 - Up Next - This coming weekend Allbrite face CR Marks Kirtlington in the league, after it was called off last weekend due to a water logged pitch. A game play away only a few weeks ago, in which Richard Pladdys ended up breaking his leg is a freak accident. 5th December 2007 - Result: Allbrite FC 0 - 2 Iffley Harriers - 27th November 2007 - Result: Wheatsheaf P - P Allbrite FC - The match was called off, Allbrite in turn have been awarded the 3 points. 23rd November 2007 - Fixture update - New fixtures for Allbrite have been added up to the end of the year, with only a one week break over Christmas. No games will be played on the 23rd December. 19th November 2007 - Up Next - This coming weekend Allbrite face The Wheatsheaf (Didcot) in the league, below are the previous results against The Wheatsheaf.
18th November 2007 - Result: Allbrite FC 2 - 9 AFC Cowley - An under strength Allbrite lost at home 8-2 to AFC Cowley yesterday in terrible condition with wind, rain and the cold effecting the game. By half time AFC were 3-1 up, with Allbrite's goal coming from R Taylor after the AFC keeper spilled from an S Taylor free kick. Second half advantage was with AFC and took control of the game and possession, but Wayne Stone scored his first Allbrite goal from inside the area. As the game drew to a close Allbrite collapsed, conceding 4 goals. MoM this week was Wayne Stone. 14th November 2007 - Result: Allbrite FC 2 - 7 Oasis - 5th November 2007 - Tomtom GPS; Point of interest - I now have a point of interest file, which once installed onto your tomtom GPS unit, will have locations of some of the grounds in the Upper Thames Valley League Div 2, including Allbrite's new ground in Garsington. photo to view full size. 5th November 2007 - Result: Allbrite FC 1 - 1 Abingdon Exiles - Allbrite managed to string 11 players together and put in 110% to earn a hard fought draw against Exiles. A game which brought many old faces back together, the game ended in a fair result although failing to produce the finishing touch, Allbrite had the greater chances. Exiles scored mid way through the first half from a through ball to slot home, soon after S Taylor nearly leveled the game having his shot saved by Simms on to the cross bar. Allbrite created a number of chances in the second half with efforts from Harris, Argent, Stone and D Taylor though not troubling the keeper too much, with 10 mins to go Lyford leveled the game from 20 yards in the bottom corner. Allbrite sat back and Exiles nearly ran away with all 3 points with a number of efforts, with Rose being called on. With seconds to go Rose made a last ditch effort to turn the ball over the bar to keeps the scores level. Mom this week was Harris. 29th October 2007 - Cup Exit - Allbrite failed to reach the next round of the Ridgeway cup after being unavailable to fulfill the fixture. Heads turn now back to the league this coming weekend again Abingdon Exiles. 26th October 2007 - Fixture update - New fixtures for Allbrite have been added including their next fixture at home to Abingdon Exiles on 4th November, a match which features a number of forma Allbrite players, playing to Exiles. 26th October 2007 - Allbrite FC v The Leys - This Sunday's game in the Ridgeway Cup has been called off. 24th October 2007 - Pladdys update; Oxford Mail headlines - Autotype UTV League Allbrite's Richard Pladdys suffered a broken leg in their Division 2 clash with CR Marks. CR Marks missed a first-half penalty, but went on to win 4-1 with goals from Chris Jordan (2), Anthony Long and Ethan Penney. Allbrite's scorer was Phil Rose. 24th October 2007 - Pladdys update - Richard Pladdys went under the knife later yesterday afternoon to insert a metal plate on his broken leg.
23rd October 2007 - Pladdys update - Allbrite defender Richard Pladdys has spent a second night in the luxury surroundings of the Oxford John Radcliffe Hospital last night waiting for the operation to pin his broken leg together. Depending on any emergences he should be operated on later today.
22nd October 2007 - Result: CR Marks Kirtlington 4 - 1 Allbrite FC - Allbrite went down 4-1 yesterday after half time with the scores level at 0-0 at the break. Allbrite defender spent the night in hospital with a broken leg, suffered 5 minutes before the break. The game was delayed 40 minutes while Paramedic's attended to Pladdys, after which it was decided the game would continue. Allbrite's game came from Rose in goal, kicking out of his hands, bouncing the once over the keeper. The result in the end didn't count for much. Allbrite Football Club would like to wish Pladdys a speedy recovery. MoM this week was Pladdys.
21st October 2007 - Unlucky break - Allbrite defender Richard Pladdys was taken to hospital during the first half with a break of the leg. Due to be operated on either later today or tomorrow, the game did though 40 minutes later continue and Allbrite crashed 4-1 at the final .
16th October 2007 - B&B Sunday Trophy - Allbrite enter the B&B Sunday Trophy this year for the first time, following from Allbrite promotion last season. After a bye to the second round, they'll now face Oasis at home on 11th November.

October 2007 - Result: Goodlake Arms 2 - 4 Allbrite FC - Allbrite
back after a weekend back fell behind after 15mins from the through ball over
the Allbrite defence. Harris then pulled the game level again from a Jones
assist. Lyford then went clear before R Taylor scored after Pladdys's shot came
over the Goodlake keeper. A close first half with the game going either way,
Allbrite edge it taking their chances. With no half time changes, Allbrite
started the second half strongly and R Taylor got his second of the game from a
long ball by Miller was volleyed home from 18 yards. Some fine keeping by Miller
and strong defending by Allbrite kept Goodlake out till 15 minutes to go to make
the final score 4 - 2 Allbrite. Man of the match this week was Lyford. 1st October 2007 - Website Updates - All club stats are updated, players stats are in the process of being update.
1st October 2007 - Result: Rutherford Lab 0 - 9 Allbrite FC - A comfortable win that saw Allbrite go through to the next round of the cup. 6-0 at Half Time, Bob Taylor rung the changes at half time. Goals coming from all over the pitch including S Taylor, Gilbert, Harris, Lyford and Brown and D Taylor netting for his seconds spell at Allbrite. Bob named two Man of the matches this week, first half Gilbert, 90 mins Jones.

September 2007 - Result: Allbrite FC 2 - 0 Long Whittenham - A close
game that saw Allbrite win their 1st game in division 2. Mark Miller making his
debut in goal for Allbrite. And Graham Watt returning after a year away traveling.
S Taylor scored after 30mins to make it 1-0 at half time a sweet shot bending it
round the long Whittenham keeper. Watt missed a good chance to make it 2-0. Half
time brought a few changes and the game started off as it did for the 1st half.
Lyford then smashed a 25yard screamer after 70mins to make it 2-0 and put Long Whittenham out of the game. 4th September 2007 - Home Matches - Please note Allbrite have switch their home matches, and now play in Garsington. Select the home pitch tab at the top to view directions..
